Kent CTA Fire Kings have been forced into changing their rider line-up once again and it comes on the eve of their latest fixture.Kent Kings2

Sam Woods has this evening been released by co-promoter Len Silver, who felt that a change was needed to try and get more points from the number two position, as the Kings search for their first ever win.

Woods who has been riding in the difficult position since the start for the season and is replaced by 32-year-old Mark Baldock from Ashford, who has experience riding at amateur level with Lakeside Young Hammers and MK Knights.”

Speaking about the situation Team manager John Sampford said: “Unfortunately Sam has struggled, we all would like to thank him for his effort and commitment for the Kings this year and wish him all the best for the future, while at the same time I’d like to welcome Mark into the side.”

The Kings are in action on Monday evening against Buxton Hitmen at Central Park and Nick Laurence will fill the place of the injured Jack Kingston, before Lee Geary takes over for the weekend’s two meetings against Coventry Storm on Friday and Mildenhall Fen Tigers on Sunday.
