Two of Kent’s all-rounders have been snapped up to play in next year’s Bangladesh Premier League Twenty 20 competition.

Both Azhar Mahmood and Darren Stevens will return for the tournament they both competed in earlier this year, winning it with the Dhaka Gladiators.

Stevens will return to the Gladiators after being picked up in Thursday morning’s auction for $30,000 whilst Mahmood will be playing with the Barisal Burners after fetching a fee of $206,000.

The seven team tournament begins on January 18th and is expected to last around three weeks.

Meanwhile, Kent’s overseas batsman Brendan Nash was one of a number of players that were in the auction, but remained unsold.
