Following extremely heavy rain today (Wednesday) and a forecast of more rain to follow on Thursday and Friday, it has reluctantly been decided to cancel Speedway at Central Park Stadium, Sittingbourne on Good Friday with the scheduled fixture, Kent SLYDE Kings vs Eastbourne Eagles unable to be staged due to a waterlogged track.

Kent’s first fixture of the season, therefore, will be AT Eastbourne (the away leg of this two legged Easter Chase challenge) on Saturday 31st March at 7.30pm. Details of a restaging date for the home leg will be announced soon.

It is hoped that the Easter Monday (2/4) fixture, Kent v Birmingham WILL be possible.
