There are some fixture changes affecting the Sittingbourne-based Speedway club in the remaining three months of the season.
The first leg of that National League KOC Semi is this coming Monday (29/6 – 6.30pm start time) and Eastbourne (the SLYDE Kings opponents in this tie) have announced this week that the visit of Kent to Sussex on Saturday 1st. August will change from a league fixture to being the second leg of the cup semi.
The rearranged date for the City Gearboxes National League match at Arlington will be Sunday 6th. September – as things stand this will likely be the SLYDE Kings last CGNL match of the 2015 season.
There’s a lot of action before we get to that point though and the other news this week is that the tour of a Young Denmark side to a number of CGNL clubs early next month has been ratified following discussions between the British and Danish authorities.
The Fritte Cup  Internationale Series 2015 featuring seven promising youngsters from the twice Under 21 World Team Champions, Denmark will visit Central Park as previously announced on 13th. July.
The day before, on Sunday 12th, the Young Danes are to race the Mildenhall Fen Tigers and this means that the Kent SLYDE Kings CGNL visit to West Row in Suffolk has been rearranged to Sunday 23 August.
The other fixture date change announced this week is the annual major individual championship the Kent Laurels which is now to be held at Central Park on Monday 20th. July.
