Kent duo Danny Webb and Henry McCartney have joined forces at Stanford Racing for the 2026 R&G Moto4 British Cup.

McCartney will be taking to the track and racing whilst Webb will take up the role of team manager.

Having worked closely together for the past three years, McCartney and Webb have progressed through the UK’s grassroots championships, focusing on rider development, professionalism, and long-term performance. This move into national-level competition represents the next key step in that journey.

Stanford Racing has been built with a clear vision: to create a genuine development platform for young talent, both on and off the track. Alongside its racing ambitions, the team has partnered with Wolverhampton University to help develop young mechanics and data engineers, offering hands-on experience within a professional race team environment.

Under the guidance of experienced personnel, students will gain invaluable exposure to real-world motorsport operations, making this project a socially impactful and future-focused initiative within the paddock.

Speaking about the move, Webb said: “I’m really excited about this project. It’s been a dream of mine to do for a few years now, and I have to say a massive thank you to Kevin at Stanford Industrial Concreting for bringing this project to life.

“This is a very exciting platform to develop young riders and technicians, giving them the best possible foot into a career in our sport, and I’m very grateful to be a part of it. There’s lots to do over the winter, but I’m really looking forward to seeing the Stanford Racing Moto4 on the grid in 2026.”

McCartney is looking forward to going racing in 2026, he said: “I am so excited to get the 2026 season underway with my new team. A lot of work has been going on behind the scenes, but it has finally come together.

“I can’t thank Danny at Danny Webb’s GP Camp enough, Kevin at Stanford Industrial Concreting, and of course all of my personal sponsors. I hope to make everyone proud.”
