In the lead up to this keenly anticipated t20 clash, Kent cricketers Mark Davies and Ben Harmison made a personal appeal to the Club, highlighting the charity’s great work.

Kent cricketer, Ben Harmison commented; “We’ve all been affected by recent events in London and wanted to do what we could to support Help for Heroes. Our troops do a fantastic job and we should all get behind them and show our support. Me and Davo suggested that the Club get involved and I hope our supporters will dig deep for such a really worthwhile cause.”Help for Heroes

Kent County Cricket Club has confirmed there will be a bucket collection during the match on Saturday and the squad will warm up for this fixture in Help for Heroes t-shirts. Smaller charity items will be available for sale, with the opportunity to order t-shirts and other items from the charity’s range.

Mark Elliott, Help for Heroes’ Head of External Operations commented; “While enjoying a great evening of cricket at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, please make a donation to Help for Heroes. Our mission is to deliver an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families, and we hope to inspire and enable those who have made sacrifices on our behalf to achieve their full potential. We are extremely grateful for the support of Kent County Cricket Club and the Club’s many supporters.”
