Kent clubs set for Non League Day
Kent clubs set for Non League Day

Due to the international break, there is no Premier League or Championship football, and no EFL Kent teams at home so this weekend could be the perfect time to watch one of the Non-League teams governed by the Kent FA.

Bromley are away to Wealdstone so the highest Kent clubs playing at home are from step three. Ebbsfleet United entertain Dorking Wanderers and Maidstone United host St. Albans City.

In step three, Cray Wanderers play their first match under former Bromley manager Neil Smith when they welcome. Also in the Isthmian League Premier, Folkestone Invicta will take on Lewes.

There are options in the Isthmian League South East Division with Ashford United v Chichester City, Faversham Town v Three Bridges, Herne Bay v Cray Valley PM, Phoenix Sports v Hythe Town, and Ramsgate v Sittingbourne.

At steps five and six, there is a full Southern Counties East Football League fixture list.

Non-League Day has become an important part of the calendar and was first created to provide a platform for clubs to promote the importance of affordable volunteer-led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side. It is now organised in conjunction with Prostate Cancer U.K. to help raise awareness of the illness and many clubs will have bucket collections for the charity.

It is also worth looking out for special promotions. Erith and Belvedere have announced a deal for Premier League and Championship Season Ticket holders and stated that fifty percent of the gate money will be donated to Bexley Foodbank. Glebe are offering a deal at their bar where beers are buy one, get one free until kick off time.
