Kent Cricket have confirmed that George Garrett, Nathan Gilchrist, Marcus O’Riordan and Mohammed Rizvi will leave the Club following the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Fresh from the news that George Garrett has decided to retire from professional cricket and off the back of the news earlier in the summer that Nathan Gilchrist would be leaving the club at the end of the season, it has been confirmed that two other players would be leaving.

Both Marcus O’Riordan and Mohammed Rizvi will leave Canterbury at the end of the campaign after failing to hold down a regular place in the first eleven.

A statement from Kent Cricket has thanked the quartet for their service. It reads:

“We thank George, Nathan, Marcus and Mo for their service to the Club, and wish them all the best for the future. They will all always be welcome back at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.”
