Gillingham Football Club, along with the player, to terminate Remeao Hutton’s contract by mutual consent.

Remeao signed for Gills in January of 2024 and went on to make 115 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal.

He had previously played for Birmingham City, Yeovil, Stevenage, Barrow and Swindon Town.

A statement from the club reads: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Remeao for his services and we wish him well for the future.”

Hutton has been widely tipped to be joining Chesterfield and could therefore face The Gills in League Two when the Spireites entertain the Kent side on Tuesday 1st September.
