Holmesdale return to SCEFL Premier Division action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Whitstable Town at Oakley Road. 

Dale go into the game sitting in eighth place with seven points from six matches, while Richard Styles’ Town side are in fifth spot having picked up nine points from only four games played so far, having won their opening three league fixtures. 

Lee Roots’ Holmesdale drew 1-1 away at Punjab United last Saturday, Eiliano Lika equalising late on. While Whitstable  lost 3-1 at home to Welling Town, Matt Gething having put The Oystermen in front on nine minutes only to concede three before half time.       

This is Whitstable’s first campaign back at this level following relegation from the Isthmian League last season and they will be looking to maintain their challenge at the top of the table to return back to Step 4. 

Holmesdale are in their second season following promotion and will be looking to build on an excellent first campaign back in Step 5. Having drawn four of their first six league matches this time round, The Dalers will be hoping to convert more of these hard earned single points into wins.

The game looks set to be a close fought, entertaining encounter, with both teams looking to push on from solid starts and challenge at the top    

Kick off at Oakley Road in Bromley Common is 3pm, entrance is £8 for adults & £5 for concessions.
