On Wednesday evening, Holmesdale entertain Tunbridge Wells in an FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round replay.

When they met at the Culverden Stadium on Saturday, both teams scored in the first half but neither could find a winner after the break. Lucas Murrain put the hosts ahead just after the half hour mark, but Malachi Hudson equalised when converting from the penalty spot five minutes before half time.
Both got off to an unsuccessful start to their league campaigns, tasting defeat on the opening day of the season. The Dalers lost one-nil at home to Bearsted through a Mark Boruk goal with three minutes remaining.
Meanwhile, Fisher travelled to Tunbridge Wells and scored twice in ninety seconds with just over ten minutes remaining to claim all three points. Chibueze Echem and Kelvin Bakare scored the goals.

In the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division last season, Wells won both encounters with the Dalers. At home, the game was tight. Six minutes after a goal-less first half, Regan Corke put them ahead from the spot and Rory Ward made it two-nil seven minutes later. Tom Osei pulled one back with quarter of an our remaining but the hosts held on to win.
However, in the return match they won comfortably. Dante Walcott put Holmesdale ahead in the seventh minute but after Ward equalised fourteen minutes later, the visitors took control. Festos Kamara put them ahead before Rhys Bartlett increased their lead ten minutes before half time. Jack Gallagher scored a second half brace to round off their performance.
Whoever prevails on Wednesday will play Ashford United away in the Preliminary round on Saturday 16th August.
