Holmesdale are in Kent Senior Trophy action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Hollands & Blair in the second round at Oakley Road.

Dale go into the game sitting in eleventh place of the SCEFL Premier Division with 21 points from 17 league games, having won 5 & drawn 6.

Lee Roots’ side booked their place in the second round with a 1-0 win away at Greenways last month.

Last weekend The Dalers lost 3-0 at home to Kennington.Hollands & Blair make the journey over from Gillingham to Bromley Common sitting seventeenth in the table with 16 points from 15 league matches, having won 3 and drawn 7.

They secured their place in this stage of the competition with a 4-0 home win over Lydd Town at Star Meadow.

Hollands’ game with Stansfeld was postponed last weekend and on Wednesday night Scott Porter’s side SCEFL League Cup game at Larkfield & New Hythe was also called off due to waterlogging. Their last game was back on 5th November, which was a 6-0 loss at Phoenix Sports.               

The two sides have already met this twice season in the league, on the opening day of the campaign drawing 1-1 at Oakley Road, Ben Brown putting the visitors in front before Jacob Skelly equalised, and then in October Holmesdale won 2-1 away at Blair.

The home side taking the lead through Sam Bewick before Dale scored two late goals through Fred Obasa & Clyde Semazzi to secure three points.       

This cup tie looks set to be equally as tight with a place in the quarter finals up for grabs.Entrance for the game is £8 for adults and £5 for concessions, with a printed programme at £2. Kick off at 3pm.
