Hill leaves Team HARD
24 year year-old BRDC ‘Rising Star Jake Hill has parted company with Trade Price Cars Brisky Racing.

Hill said “I am hugely grateful for the support I have had from Tony (Gilham) and everyone at the team over the past couple of years. I have managed to get an Independent Win, an overall podium, a Jack Sears Win and wins in the Dunlop Forever Forward series for them…so I have shown what I can do, what I can achieve and this shows what I can do, despite the lack of budget and personnel available to me”

“Over the past couple of years I have shown what I can do. In qualifying and in races I have managed to drag an uncompetitive car into unfamiliar territory – I feel my ability has shown through. No one else in the team has qualified in the top six or finished as high up as I have…I am very proud of what I have shown I can do”

Hill tested for AmD Tuning at Snetterton – posting a remarkable time for his first time in an unfamiliar car and on old tyres.

“I managed to go P12 – despite being on ancient tyres – the car is very different to what I know – much stiffer and incredible brakes – and I love working with the personnel – they are incredibly professional and have made me feel welcome and valued instantly. I love this environment so very much” smiled Hill.

More running in this morning’s session is expected.

Hill is evaluating his options for the balance of the 2018 season.
