Hill delighted to bounce back at Knockhill

Jake Hill was delighted to bounce back with a double victory in last weekend’s Kwik-Fit British Touring Car Championship round at Knockhill.

It is proving to be a happy hunting ground for Hill, who now has seven wins around the shortest circuit on the BTCC calendar. Not only that but it is the circuit upon which he took his first ever BTCC race victory.

Hill has been reflecting on a weekend that saw him take victory in race one and three, and bring home the Laser Tools Racing BMW in fifth place in race two.

It was race two that he ran the unfavourable medium tyres and did well to manage the rear tyres and finish not too far off the podium spots.

Giving his thoughts after the weekend, Hill said: “What a weekend here at Knockhill for myself and the team! It was tough to watch on from the sidelines at Croft, but we have bounced back in some style with two victories and a healthy haul of points.

“I’ve kept up my streak of winning here every time in a BMW, and the car was just fantastic to drive this weekend, so a massive thanks to everyone at Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport and WSR for all their hard work to make this happen.

“A massive thank you to all our partners for being patient while I get better from my illness, and it was nice to come back and remind everyone why we are the current champions!”
