Two Herne Bay FC Ladies, Vicky Holness and Kate Foster, have been called up to the Kent FA Women’s squad.Herne Bay Ladies2

The pair have been called up ahead of their two Southern Counties Cup matches against the RAF on 7th May and Army on 14th May.

They will join up with 25 players from Gillingham, Millwall Lionesses, Chelsea, Anchorians,Meridian, Maidstone United, London Corinthians and Charlton Athletic at a training camp on 2nd May from which a final squad of 16 will be selected for the two games that will both be played at Chatham Town’s Maidstone Road stadium.

Vicky Holness is the Herne Bay Ladies 2nd top scorer this season whilst Kate Foster’s hat-trick gave Bay victory in this season’s Kent FA Plate Final and earned her the Player of the Match award.

Herne Bay FC Ladies manager Anthony Deer said “we’ve had another fantastic year. Vicky and Kate have been outstanding for us.”
