Princes Park, Dartford hosts a midweek Southern Counties East Football League Challenge Cup second round match when Halls Athletic take on Snodland Town.

It hasn’t been the best of starts for Halls this season, and they are currently in the bottom three in the first division having won twice, drawn twice and lost eight times. Premier Division Snodland are in mid table having recorded three wins, five draws and three defeats.
On Saturday, Halls went down one-nil at home to Minster. They were reduced to ten men in just the sixth minute when captain Gergo Petrovics was sent off. They then kept their opponents out until fourteen minutes remained when Jake Munday scored. Although Minster had Fin Waddell dismissed in stoppage time, it was too late for Halls to take advantage.
Meanwhile Snodland were in FA Vase action and bowed out when they went down one-nil at Harefield United. The only goal was scored by the hosts in the fifteenth minute and Connor Dymond’s team were unable to find an equaliser.
Although the Challenge Cup is neither side’s priority, it is a chance to win silverware and both teams will be hoping to bounce back from their weekend’s one-nil defeats.
