Gillingham’s FA Cup third round tie against West Ham United has been selected for TV coverage.

The fixture was drawn on Monday evening with the Gills hosting West Ham at home for the first time since February 2005.

The tie will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2020 and will kick off at 6.16pm with BT picking up the match.

The two sides have never met in the FA Cup and they’ve only met four times since 1914. These came in the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons where the Hammers won three of the fixtures with Gillingham winning 2-0 at Priestfield in September 2003.

Ticket information is yet to be announced by the Gills.
