On Saturday, a Gills legends team will take on a celebrity XI at MEMS Priestfield Stadium to help raise funds for Mind, a mental health charity, and the club’s official charity partner, Take Heart Mercy Mission.

The Gills legends team will include defenders Guy Butters and Ian Cox while Danny Jackman, Kevin James, Neil Smith, Simon Osborn and Nicky Southall will help support Robert Taylor, Mama Sidibe, Danny Kedwell and Patrick Agyemang in attack.

The celebrity XI is due to contain former England centre-back Des Walker along with Olympic sprinter Christian Malcolm and former Fulham midfielder Sean Davis.

Kick-off at Priestfield is scheduled for 2.30pm with tickets at the following prices:

Adults – £10

Season Ticket Holders – £5

Youth (13-17) – £5

U12’s – £1

Gates to the stadium will open at 11.30am with the club’s Marsh Academy, who have recently won their league championship, taking part in some warm-up fixtures.

The Factory will be open until late.
