Gillingham vs Bolton Wanderers Preview

Gillingham are still looking for their first win of the 2019/20 season as they take on a Bolton Wanderers side, buoyant from their takeover on Wednesday.

Gillingham’s new signings, Olly Lee and Connor O’Thomas could make their debuts after being signed earlier today.

Paul Raynor said today that Matty Willock “will certainly be involved Saturday.”

Raynor also said striker Mikael Mandron has “put himself in the frame” for Saturday.

The Gills have no new injury concerns with Gabriel Zakuani the only player to miss out on Saturday, still recovering from his ankle injury suffered back in February in the 4-1 defeat against Barnsley.

Gills manager Steve Evans is back on the touchline at Priestfield after he completed his touchline ban which carried over from his time at Peterborough United.

Bolton could have a host of new players after the successful takeover allows them to now sign and register players after starting the season with youth players and a 12 point deduction.

Still manager-less, Bolton would want to start the new era under Football Ventures with a win on Saturday.
