Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh could make changes following the 4-0 defeat at Bolton on Monday night.

Forward Rory Donnelly and defender Ryan Jackson may be recalled to the starting XI, along with midfielder Mark Byrne.

Midfielder Billy Knott has been sidelined a hamstring problem, but is back in training, with Bradley Garmston suffering from a similar issue, while Australian Chris Herd has been recovering from an ankle injury.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, on loan from Reading, is hopeful of a return from a groin injury sustained at the end of October. Defender Aaron Morris (knee) and midfielder Lee Martin (ankle) are long-term absentees, whilst Darren Oldaker is out with a groin problem.

Dons full-back George Baldock should be available despite limping off during the midweek FA Cup win against Charlton.

Kieran Agard is also fit to play after being left out of the starting line-up on Tuesday night as a precautionary measure, while fellow forward Nicky Maynard may make a return to the squad after a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

The only injury concern for Milton Keynes manager Robbie Neilson, other than long-term absentee Scott Wootton, is defender Joe Walsh (ankle).

Chuks Aneke made his first home start for the Dons against Charlton as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury but Neilson will continue to take things steady with the former Arsenal forward.
