Garmston agreed new Gillingham deal

Bradley Garmston has signed a new two-year deal to keep him at Priestfield Stadium until the summer of 2020.

The left-back, who made 20 appearances last season, continues his stay in Kent having first joined the club on loan from West Brom in January 2015.

He scored one goal during the 2017/18 season, that coming in a 2-1 home win over Rochdale in January.

Five players have now signed contract extensions with Elliott List, Noel Mbo, Gabriel Zakuani and Navid Nasseri having also agreed terms on new deals.

After agreeing his new deal Bradley told the club’s official website: “Since the conclusion of the season I was very keen to extend my stay. I’ve had some great times and I wanted it to continue and I think being here is key for my development.

“I like to keep on top of my fitness and it’s important, having had issues in the past, to come back in good shape in pre-season.”
