Forest Hill Park v Sutton Athletic preview

On Wednesday night relegation threatened Forest Hill Park host promotion chasing Sutton Athletic at Ladywell Arena in a Southern Counties East Football League Division one match.

Hosts Forest Hill have only Chessington and Hook below them in the table and have not won in seven games since beating Greenways three-nil at the end of February. On Saturday, they entertained Rochester United and looked set for at least a point until Emilio Regini-Moran and Luis Dos-Santos both scored in the last seven minutes.

Meanwhile, second placed Sutton Athletic lost ground on league leaders Stansfeld OB when held two all at home to Tooting Bec and are now seven points behind. They appeared to be heading for a tight victory before a crazy final five minutes.

Alfie Desanges gave them a first half lead but a goal by Elijah Lewis, five minutes from time, and another by Alvin Turyatemba one minute later, turned the game on its head. Dan Gunner converted a penalty for the Hextable based club to claim a point.

There is no head-to-head form to look at this season as the two teams are yet to meet with the return game due on 16th April.
