Brad Ray and his McAMS Yamaha return to action this week for the final official British Superbike Championship pre-season test of 2026.

There will be two crucial days on track at Oulton Park on 21-22 April before attention turns to the season opener at the same circuit in ten days time.
The officially supported British Superbike and Supersport squad have enjoyed a productive testing period so far, with both sides of the garage making encouraging progress ahead of the long-awaited season opener.
The first official test of the year at Donington Park proved fruitful across the board – Brad Ray delivered a strong showing aboard the Yamaha R1, while Supersport trio Ben Currie and Harry Truelove impressed on the Yamaha R9.
All three riders secured top-four finishes in their respective classes, posting consistently strong lap times as the team continues to build momentum ahead of the new season.

For 2022 BSB champion and 2025 runner-up, Ray, the final pre-season test carries added significance, with racing returning to Oulton Park just two weeks later for the season opener in early May.
The team worked intensively to unlock more potential from the R1 package at Donington Park, and with the field growing more competitive year on year, next week’s test represents another vital opportunity to build on that momentum.
Speaking ahead of testing, Ray said: “I’m looking forward to getting back to work with the team at Oulton Park. It’s a circuit I enjoy and one that suits the R1, so I’m excited to see what we can achieve as we build towards Round 1 next month.
“My feeling on the bike continues to grow, we managed to extract some more performance at Donington Park last time out, so we’re heading into this week’s test with real momentum and the aim to keep pushing in the same direction.”
