Tickets are now on sale for the second edition of the Professional Cricketers’ Trust’s Festival of Cricket, and this year’s event on Friday 29 July will be held in memory of the former Kent and England legend Alan ‘Iggy’ Igglesden.

Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Festival of Cricket will return to the beautiful surroundings of Wormsley in Buckinghamshire for a day of fun in the sun, food, drink and cricket.

Doors will open at 10am, followed by a warm-up T20 fixture an hour later, with a showcase match between the PCA England Legends and a Kent XI rounding off the day.

You can purchase tickets online here.

Players for both star-studded teams are to be announced shortly, and the action on the field will be complemented by entertainment off it throughout the day.

Ticket options:

  • Adult – £30
  • Child (5-16) – £10
  • Child (Under 5) – Free
  • On-site parking – £2

Tables in the VIP marquee are also available, and you can contact the PCA Head of Fundraising Bee Ford at [email protected] for more information.

This year’s event is being held in memory of the late Alan ‘Iggy’ Igglesden, who sadly passed away in November 2021.

The inspirational Iggy revealed his story in May last year, kicking off the charity’s 5k May campaign which helped to raise over £25,000 for current and former professional cricketers in need.

The Trust supported Iggy and his young family during the final years of the former Kent man’s life, and continues to support PCA members and their immediate families thanks to your generous donations.

Professional Cricketers’ Trust, Director, Ian Thomas, said: “The first Festival of Cricket was a wonderful occasion, so we’re really excited about the 2022 edition which will be a fitting tribute to a man of Iggy’s standing.”

“Please join us on Friday 29th July to help us continue supporting current and former professional cricketers in need.”
