Maidstone learn FA Trophy fate
Maidstone learn FA Trophy fate

Kent’s last remaining side in the Buildbase FA Trophy this season face a really tough tie if they are to gain a quarter final place.

After beating Oxford City 1-0 at the Gallagher on Saturday, Maidstone United must this time travel – their destination Salford City who are currently second in the National League.

The Stones have already played at Moss Lane in the North West this season going down 1-0 on the first Saturday in September, which means that the Stones caretakers Tristian Lewis and Simon Walton will be hoping to still be involved after last week being granted time to stake their place by the clubs board.

The full draw was:

1 Ramsbottom United or Weymouth vs. AFC Fylde
2 Spennymoor Town vs. AFC Telford United
3 Carshalton Athletic vs. Barnet
4 Chesterfield vs. Brackley Town
5 Leyton Orient vs. Blyth Spartans
6 Hemel Hempstead Town vs. FC Halifax Town or Solihull Moors
7 Salford City vs. Maidstone United
8 Harrogate Town vs. Stockport County
