Taking a break from Southern Counties East Football League action, Erith and Belvedere entertain Minster in the Kent Senior Trophy at the Acclaim Handling Community Stadium.

It has been a difficult start for the Deres in the Premier Division. They have won just once in the league and are bottom of the table with three points from ten matches. Meanwhile, Minster are enjoying their first season in division one, sitting in eighth place, one point outside the play-offs. In eleven games they have won five, drawn two, and lost four.
On Saturday, Erith hosted Sutton Athletic and crashed to defeat. They were three down at half time through two goals by Ashdon Day and a third from Chris Loko. Tom Borders pulled one back from the penalty spot before Day completed his hat-trick. Borders converted another penalty in the closing minutes but it was too little too late for the youthful Deres.
Meanwhile, Minster drew at home to Minster, thanks to a stoppage time own goal, before visiting Sheppey Sports on Monday. The match was goal-less at the break before the Sports scored four times in the second period. Jack O’Neill scored a brace either side of goals by Paddy Flynn and Frankie Maciocia.
Although both sides have other priorities, they will both want to bounce back from their most recent match and the Deres will be hoping for a good attendance for the 13:00 kick off.
