Five Canterbury players have been chosen to represent England sides at the European Junior Touch Rugby Championships in Nottingham, next Saturday and Sunday.

Rory Howard, Dan Mayall and Stuart Meredith will play for the Under 18 Boys team while Danni and Ayla Paten represent the Girls Under 18 team.

The city club’s young stars have been selected in the England Junior sides chosen from the best players in the regional teams.

Canterbury Touch Rugby Co-ordinator Tom Humphreys said:

“This is great work by all five to be competing in the European Junior Championships. They have thoroughly deserved it.”
