Christmas is fast approaching and this year the Invicta Dynamos are once again teaming up with Demelza Hospice Care for Children with a teddy toss.

They will also be supporting the Rotary Club with a bucket collection to give some festive cheer to those who need it most this Xmas.

As the Mos take on the London Raiders in their final home game of the year on Sunday 20th December, the club invite you to take part in our teddy toss and throw your donated cuddly toys onto the ice for collection at the end of the first period.

All soft toys should be clean and bagged where possible although a number of clear bags will be available if required.

Meanwhile, don’t forget to bring any spare change as the team hold a bucket collection with all money raised going to the charitable efforts of the Medway Sunlight Rotary Club.

Speaking on the upcoming teddy bear toss club Director Jackie Mason said, “Last time we held this event in aid of Demelza it was a tremendous success with over 250 teddies thrown onto the ice.”

“Both we and the charity were blown away by the generosity of the supporters and we’d love to beat that total this time around.”

“Our fans have a great history of coming together with the club to support various local causes and I have no doubt that together we’ll be making sure that Christmas for those at Demelza Hospice is as good as it can be”.

Demelza Children’s hospices support children and young people who are not expected to reach adulthood and provides support to their families.

They strive to offer children, young people and families the chance to build memories as a unit and help them undertake a range of activities that they may not ordinarily be able to access.

Meanwhile Medway Sunlight Rotary Club will be the beneficiary of the bucket collection and on their last visit to the Mos they raised a sum of £255 which went towards their Rotary Children’s Hospice Holiday trip.

All money collected helped take six children with life threatening diseases, together with their entire families, on a special trip to EuroDisney and now they’re hoping for more of the same as they turn to the Dynamos to help create some special family memories in the near future.

Any amount you can give will be gratefully received and make a have a huge impact on the lives of those desperately in need of support.
