The Invicta Dynamos showed some real character to come back from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 with Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday night.Juraj Huska3

Kevin Parrish’s side have already shown they don’t fear the league and cup champions with the two sides drawing 6-6 earlier in the season in the cup and at the weekend they showed that they don’t know when they’re beaten.

Having found themselves trailing 2-0 after a sluggish start in the first period, it took just over a minute in the second for returning record points scorer Andy Smith to get himself back on the scoresheet.

With the crowd firmly behind the side at a packed Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham, the Dynamos drew level just three minutes later with import Juraj Huska rounding off a nice move that saw Ryan Giles put the forward clean through.

However, the Dynamos were to go into the last period trailing once again as Chris Douglas was beaten for the third time in the 33rd minute.

It took until four minutes to go for the Dynamos to pull level once again as the old pairing of Smith and Callum Fowler paid dividends with the latter striking to deny Chelmsford.

The visitors had one last chance to seal the win in the dying seconds with James Ayling hitting the post, but in the end a point each was a fair result after an entertaining game.

The Dynamos will now entertain Cardiff NIHL Devils on Saturday night with face off at 5:15pm before heading to Solent & Gosport on Sunday evening with four points a real possibility.
