Dynamos ready for play-off weekend

It’s the start of the play-offs for the Invicta Dynamos this weekend and Kevin Parrish is backing his side to shine.

Having had last weekend off, the Kent side go into this weekend’s two legged clash against Milton Keynes Thunder in a rich vein of form and suitably rested.

The roster had a chance to rest weary limbs and recharge batteries last week and that could be crucial as the Dynamos look to book their place in the semi-finals.

With a trip to Milton Keynes first up on Saturday evening, Parrish’s side will be hoping to return to Kent with a lead of some size before the second leg back in Gillingham on Sunday evening.

Parrish will have an almost full strength roster in which to choose from, but he’s not underestimating a Milton Keynes side the Dynamos have already beaten four times in the league season:

“It’s an exciting time of year and there could be a surprise this year. Milton Keynes were the surprise team last year in the first round, so we’ve got to be on our toes and play the way we’ve been playing all year.”

“We’ve got a massive hurdle in front of us and we can’t disrespect Milton Keynes just because of where they finished in the league table.”

“We have got to play for one hundred and twenty minutes if we want to get into the next round.”

The Dynamos undoubtedly go into this weekend as overwhelming favourites, but will need the support of their home support for Sunday’s second leg and a big crowd is expected at Silver Blades with doors opening at 4:30pm and face off at 5:15pm.
