Ice hockey fans can plan their next nine months after the 2019/20 fixtures for the Invicta Dynamos were announced on Monday morning.

The Invicta Dynamos will compete in the NIHL South Division 1, the NIHL Southern Cup and potentially the NIHL Playoffs in 2019/20 and they will open their campaign with two challenge games against the Slough Jets on 7th (away) and 8th (home) of September.

NIHL SOUTH DIVISION 1

The Dynamos will compete in a 10 team league against the Bracknell Hornets, Cardiff Fire, Chelmsford Chieftains, Junior Raiders, Milton Keynes Thunder, Oxford City Stars, Slough Jets, Solent Devils and Streatham IHC. Teams will play each other four times on a two at home and two away basis for a total of 36 league fixtures. The team finishing in first place after 36 games will be crowned NIHL South Division 1 champions 2019/20.

NIHL SOUTHERN CUP

The Dynamos will faceoff against the Haringey Huskies and Streatham IHC for the right to lift the NIHL Southern Cup. The sides will play each other twice on a one at home and one away basis in the group stage. The top two placed teams in the group will then progress to a two legged final also played on a one at home and one away basis over the weekend of the 15th and 16th of February. The winner of the two legged final will be crowned NIHL Southern Cup Champions 2019/20.

NIHL PLAYOFFS

The top eight sides in the NIHL South Division 1 after all league games have been completed will progress to the playoffs. Beginning on the weekend of the 4th and 5th of April, the eight sides will then faceoff in two legged quarterfinals with matchups determined by league position as follows – 1st v 8th, 2nd v 7th, 3rd v 6th, 4th v 5th. The four remaining teams will progress to a new finals weekend to be held on 11th and 12th April. The venue is still to be confirmed.

MATCH AND SEASON TICKETS

The Invicta Dynamos will be confirming the prices of individual game tickets and season tickets within the next couple of weeks.
