Double win for the Addicks
Double win for the Addicks
On a busy day personnel‎ wise, the Addicks won two pre-season friendlies.

The senior team beat Maccabi‎ Petah Tikva 2-1 in Austria, while Jason Euell’s development squad gained a 2-1 victory at Dulwich Hamlet.
Stephen Henderson, Chris Solly and Tony Watt were missing for various reasons. Russell Slade switched Kevin Foley to right-back, with Lewis Buxton partnering ‎Roger Johnson at the heart of the defence.
‎Dillon Phillips was in goal and played the whole 90 minutes. Charlton suffered another injury when a shocking high and late tackle from Romario Pires felled Josh Umerah.
The young striker required three stitches for a gash ‎to his kneecap.
The Addicks dominated proceedings and should probably have won more comfortably than they did.
The winning goal came just after the hour mark, when Brandon Hanlon’s d‎iving header converted Morgan Fox’s cross.
Charlton will fly back to England on Wednesday morning and will face Leyton Orient on Saturday.
