Jake Dixon is back on track this weekend as the World Superbike season heads to Italy for the tenth round of the season.

It will be the Dover born riders first taste of racing on the Cremona circuit, although he and his teammate Somkiat Chantra did complete a test there a few weeks ago.

Dixon will be looking to build on the recent Magny-Cours round that saw him score his first points of the season, in a weekend that showed some real progress. With just three rounds of the championship left to run, Dixon will be seeking to maximise the track time and build on the progress seen so far.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Dixon said: “I’m looking forward to Cremona. I really liked the track when we tested there, and it was good to get some experience in both wet and dry conditions.

“We have a busy final part of the season ahead of us, starting this weekend. The goal is to keep working with the team, keep improving the bike step by step, and see what we can do from now until the end of the season.”
