Once again it was a tough weekend for the Un-Limited Motorsport squad at Silverstone in the latest round of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.

In what was the penultimate round of the 25 season race one at Silverstone was dramatic for the team for all the wrong reasons.
Nic Hamilton’s car caught fire in dramatic fashion just a few laps before the end of the race. Nic was luckily fine and the marshalls were on hand quickly to put the fire out. Though it did leave the team a fair amount of work to do if they were to get Hamilton back on the grid for race two.
Unfortunately the damage meant that Nic was not able to take to the grid for the rest of the weekend.
Race one saw Dexter Patterson miss out on points as he came home in 17th place.

In race two he was penalised for exceeding track limits too many times which meant he had a ten second penalty added to his times, dropping him down to last place.
Race three was a better one for Dexter as he took the final points position of 15th place after a time penalty for Gordon Sheddon dropped him below him in the final positions.
The team now move onto the final round of the season in two weeks time at their home circuit of Brands Hatch, where they will be looking to end the season on a high.
