The Invicta Dynamos have expressed their gratitude to netminder John Dibble after the shot stopper returned to Bristol.
Dibble has been icing for the Mos since late October covering injuries to the now fit Damien King and James Richardson.
Head Coach Kevin Parrish suffered a goalie crisis against Streatham on 16th October as first Damien King and then backup James Richardson succumbed to long term injuries in the same fixture leaving the side without a netminder.
With the permission of Bristol Pibtulls coach Richie Hargreaves, Parrish then called upon John Dibble of the NIHL South Division 2 side and he went on to dress for the Mos 11 times, standing between the posts for 608 minutes.
Dibble saved 360 shots during his Dynamos stint for an impressive save rate of 91.60%. His appearances between the pipes aided the Mos in completing a run of seven consecutive victories that helped place the team second in the league behind the Chelmsford Chieftains going into the Christmas break.
Now, with both Damien King and James Richardson returning to full fitness, Dibble departs for Bristol with the Dynamos grateful for his efforts in Kent over the recent months.
Speaking on the development Head Coach Kevin Parrish said, “We owe a huge thank you to not only John Dibble for his performances over the last few weeks but also to Bristol coach Richie Hargreaves for allowing him to come in and cover for us.”
“John has been fantastic for us and a perfect professional. He has travelled from Bristol, he has fitted in with the rest of the team easily and his displays in goal were the reason we took the two points on numerous occasions.”
“I know the supporters would also like to join me in expressing their gratitude to John and we wish him every success for the remainder of the season”.
With Damien King and James Richardson now back in the fold the Invicta Dynamos should be at full strength as they return to action following Christmas and New Year with a double header against the Chelmsford Chieftains.
The Mos will travel to Essex on Saturday 7th January before returning home for the second meeting at the SilverBlades Gillingham on Sunday 8th with faceoff at 5.15pm.
