It comes after the defenceman successfully agreed terms to extend his stay for the 2015/16 campaign.

Elliott Dewey arrived at the Mos as a promising talent ahead of 2014/15 haven risen through the ranks in Basingstoke and Slough. After 7 appearances in the EPL and 19 in the NIHL South’s second tier, Dewey’s first full season with the Dynamos was also his first in Division 1 and the blue liner enjoyed a fine debut campaign.

The ‘stay at home defenceman’ missed just two of 60 fixtures across four competitions and amassed 16 assists in 58 appearances whilst wearing a Mos jersey. He was a regular in defence throughout the term and finished the season by lifting the NIHL Southern Cup with his teammates following a 9-7 aggregate win over the Chelmsford Chieftains in March.

Now, with 2015/16 fast approaching, Elliott Dewey will be looking to continue his swift development as he commits to the Dynamos for a second season in the NIHL South’s top tier.

Speaking on his latest re-signing Head Coach Kevin Parrish said, “It’s great to have Elliott back with us for another spell. He arrived as a junior looking to make the next step last season and he had firmly cemented his place in the NIHL South Division 1 by the end of the campaign.”

“He’s a solid ‘stay at home defenceman’ with good positional sense and was a key part of our back line last year despite only being 18.”

“Elliott knows the club well, is settled at the Mos and will no doubt continue to develop his game yet further when 2015/16 gets underway in just a month’s time”.

Elliot Dewey’s return takes the team’s roster to 14 with news of a fifteenth to follow on Friday as Head Coach Kevin Parrish reveals the second of the side’s import players to have signed on the dotted line.

Information on the club’s new non-EIHA trained forward – a player who is new to the league – will follow at 7pm.
