Departures imminent for Addicks?
Departures imminent for Addicks?

Stories circulating suggest that Morgan Fox and Ademola Lookman will be exiting The Valley in January.

Both players were subject to deadline day bids in August, but the Addicks rebuffed them as they came in too late to for the club to bring in replacements.
Sheffield Wednesday have renewed their interest in Fox, whereas it is now Everton – not Crystal Palace – who are pursuing Lookman.
At away games, Kevin Nugent is normally the first to alight from the team coach, but he was not on board on Monday. Eagle eyed fans may have noticed Nugent was not involved in the pre-match warm up at Milton Keynes either.
It would appear that Nugent was not at the match.
It was noticeable that new arrival, Richie Barker, was very animated in the technical area at the Millwall game. Barker’s appointment did cast a shadow over Nugent’s future at The Valley.
After Monday’s game, Karl Robinson revealed that he, along with Barker and Johnnie Jackson, were travelling to Belgium to meet owner, Roland Duchatelet, to discuss plans for January. No mention of  Nugent being in the party.
The signs suggest that Nugent – who took seven points from his three games in  temporary charge – will not be at The Valley for much longer.
Russell Slade’s appointment at Coventry has led to understandable speculation that he and Nugent may link up again.
The next few days will be interesting.
