Talented young Bulgarian keeper, Dimitar Mitov, has signed a new three-year contract at The Valley the club announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Mitov has been on the bench for the first team matches at Huddersfield and the Capital One Cup game at Derby in August.

He has also made a number of appearances for Jason Euell’s Under-21 team this term.

Another of Euell’s charges, Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, is going to Oxford on loan.

Holmes-Dennis has settled at left-back and will become 19-years-old at the end of the month. The Farnborough born defender captained the club’s Under-18 team last season and will be hoping to make his league debut during his stint at the Kassam Stadium.

Following Sheffield Wednesday’s visit to The Valley on the first day of November, the Addicks face two away games in four days.

First, they will go to Leeds on Tuesday 4 November, the third successive season they have played at Elland Road in midweek.

Ticket prices will be £34 for adults, with concessions paying £23 and juniors £16. The adult and concession prices will rise by £5 if purchased on the night.

Four days later Charlton go to the Madejski to face Reading. Prices for this game will be £25, £17 for concessions and £8 for juniors, providing fans are either season ticket holders or Valley Gold members. Prices will rise by £2 – £1 for juniors – for fans who do not meet either criteria.

Tickets for these two games will go straight on general sale on Thursday morning.
