Former Gillingham loanee Matt Fry has agreed a deal to play for Dartford in the Conference Premier League next season.

The 22 year old former West Ham United and Charlton Athletic defender was out of contract and has elected to join Tony Burman’s Darts side for the season ahead.

“I am pleased to confirm that Matt Fry, a left sided defender, has joined the club.” said Burman.

“The 22 year old played for Concord Rangers last season. Matt, signed his first professional contract at West Ham in 2009 after joining as a youth player when he was 11.”

“He has experience with Gillingham, Charlton Athletic and Bradford City. Matt had trained with the club early last season prior to joining Concord Rangers.”

Fry made eleven appearances on loan at Gillingham in the 2009/10 season after finding chances hard to come by at West Ham.
