Dartford announce squad update

Dartford have today provided an update on their squad heading into the new season.

The Darts were relegated from the National League South after a loss against champions Yeovil Town and other results went against them, and are now preparing to challenge in the Isthmian Premier.

As is the norm at this point of the offseason, the club have released their list of players departing the club, and who they are currently negotiating to keep.

The on-loan Leyton Orient duo of Rhys Byrne and Harrison Sodje have returned to their parent club. This is also the case for Ronnie Nelson and Ollie Bray, who have returned to Colchester United and Aldershot Town respectively.

Strikers Alex Wall and Jordan Greenidge have both left the club. Former Tottenham Hotspur academy defender Max Statham and Manny Adebowale join them, as does academy goalkeeper Tom Wray and Tyrell Miller-Rodney.

The club have also confirmed that captain Luke Coulson and Tommy Block “were offered terms to stay but due to personal reasons and commitments have chosen to move on”.

According to the club statement, the rest of last season’s playing squad are still in talks with manager Adrian Pennock, and announcements (along with new signings) will follow in the coming days.
