Crees back on track

The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship returns this weekend and Michael Crees is back on track.

The Broadstairs race ace has had a number of solid weekends since the season got underway. Now he will be hoping to target regular top ten finishes and the podium as the season heads to Thruxton.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Crees said: “I had a solid weekend at Knockhill. To be fair we haven’t had the rub of the green so far this season, so it must be our turn next.

Crees is currently leading the Jack Sears Trophy standings and he will also be looking to continue to stretch his lead even further.

“The car has a strong track record at Thruxton, and I know what I need to do to go forward. I’m hoping to carry on moving up the grid. I think I’m good enough, and the car is fast enough for a top ten result.

“My focus is still on the Jack Sears Trophy. I want to win that this weekend, keep banking those points and extend my lead at the top of standings.”
