Cray Wanderers are back in Isthmian League Premier Division action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Lewes at Flamingo Park.

The Wands go into the game on an unbeaten run of sevengames, last weekend Tim O’Shea’s side beat Chippenham Town 3-0 in the FA Cup, Ola Ogunwamide, Ade Yusuff and Lateef Adaja with the goals, before a young Cray team won 2-0 over Punjab Utd in the Kent Senior Cup on Tuesday night.
The black and ambers are currently twelfth in the table with 12 points from 8 league games. The Wands also progressing in the FA Trophy as well as the cup, giving them a hectic fixtures schedule over the autumn.
Lewes make the trip up from Sussex sitting in fifth place with 19 points from 10 matches. Craig Nelson’s team have been on a good run in the league, last time out The Rooks won 1-0 over Whitehawk in the league, Mackenzie Richardson with the winning goal.
The sides have already met twice this season in the FA Cup, drawing 2-2 at The Dripping Pan before Cray won the replay 1-0 and this game looks set to be equally as close, with both wanting to keep in touch with the play off places.
Entrance is £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and there is an excellent printed programme for £3. Kick off is at 3pm.
