Cray Wanderers return to Bostik Leage Division One South East action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Faversham Town in a Kent derby at Hayes Lane.

The Wands currently lead the division with seven wins and one draw from their opening eight games and won 2-1 at VCD Athletic last weekend thanks to second half goals from Freddie Parker and Bradley Pritchard.

Young striker Parker coming into the side to replace the injured Michael Power and quickly finding his feet as a starter.

Despite also missing midfield general Karl Dent, Tony Russell’s have continued to play some fantastic football and keep their unbeaten run in the league through the first two months of the season.

Faversham make the trip over The Medway in eleventh place having taken ten points from seven games played.

Last Saturday they lost 2-1 at home to Whitstable Town, having lost 5-4 to Hythe Town four days earlier and wil be keen to turn round a disappointing run of late.

When the sides met last season Cray won their home game 4-2, while the match at Salters Lane ended 0-0. This game could well be anoter tight entertaining affair

The game kicks off at 3pm, Adults £10, Concessions £5. Season ticket holders of Premier League, Football League and National League clubs can see the game for only £5 on production of their ticket at the turnstile.
