Cray Wanderers v Dereham Town preview

Cray Wanderers are back in Ryman League North Division One action at Hayes Lane on Saturday as they entertain Dereham Town looking to maintain their place in the play off spots following last weekend’s 4-2 win at Regbridge.

Bromley v Cambridge United Pre-season Friendly 25/07/2015.

After slipping from top spot to fifth The Wands started to show signs of recovery last Saturday battling back from being 1-0 down at half time thanks to two goals apiece from Ben Hunt & James Duckworth.

Tony Russell added Jeff Goulding and Jamie Mascoll to the squad last week and they both featured in the much needed win at Oakside Stadium.

Dereham travel down from Norfolk with 51 points from their 33 games still with an outside chance of a run at the play offs if they can get a good run of form together.

On Tuesday night Dereham lost 2-1 at Waltham Abbey, both sides scoring in the final minute of the game, having beaten Tilbury 4-2 the previous Saturday and they will be looking to re-find that form as the make the long journey down to the suburban Kent.

In the reverse fixture back in October the game finished 2-2, both sides scoring late on, and with the teams looking for points to keep them in the picture for the post season it should be another entertaining game at The Lane on Saturday.
