Cray Wanderers play their penultimate home match at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night when they take on Dartford in a London Senior Cup Quarter Final local derby.

The Wands go into the game on a run of three consecutive defeats and haven’t picked up a win for a month, they currently sit sixteenth in the Isthmian League Premier Division with 47 points from 40 league matches. Last Saturday Neil Smith’s side lost 2-0 away at Horsham. 

National League South side Dartford make the short journey across North West Kent sitting in twenty second place with 43 points from 45 games, having been relegated last weekend, probably into the Isthmian League Premier Division for next season. The Darts lost 3-1 at Yeovil Town on Saturday with Luke Coulson on target for Adrian Pennock’s side. 

The two sides have been familiar foes over the last few years, The Darts having gorundshared with Cray Wands at Oxford Road when they re-started in 1993. When the teams met most recently met in the FA Trophy back in December 2021, Dartford won 3-1 at Hayes Lane. Jake Robinson with two and Danny Leonard on target for the visitors with Jai Reason notching the only goal for The Wands.

Cray have seen off Tooting & Mitcham Utd 4-2 and Fisher 3-0 to progress to this stage, while Dartford have beaten Harrow Borough 1-0 and QPR Under 23s 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw to secure their place in the final eight. 

The winners of the tie will play Hendon away in the semi final next week at Silver Jubilee Park, with the final taking place on 30th April.   

Entrance for the game is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Kick off is at 7:45pm.
