Cray Wanderers are back in FA Cup action this Saturday afternoon when they take on Chippenham Town at Flamingo Park in the third qualifying round.

The Wands go into the game on a good run of form, on Tuesday night they travelled to Maldon & Tiptree and won 5-1 thanks to goals from Soul Kader, Ade Yusuff, Ola Ogunwamide, Sammie McLeod and an own goal.
Last Saturday they progressed in the FA Trophy, defeating Cheshunt 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Tim O’Shea’s side are eleventh in the Isthmian League Premier Division with 12 points from 8 games played and have seen off Lewes & Maidstone Utd to reach this stage of the cup, both after replays.
Chippenham Town make the trip across from Wiltshire sitting twentieth in the Southern League Premier Division South, with 7 points from 8 games. Last season Town were relegated from National League South after a nine year stay at that level.
Gary Horgan’s side have also progressed through to this round via two replay wins against Yate Town and Havant & Waterlooville. In Town’s last match they lost 2-0 at Evesham Utd and they were without a game last weekend.
This look set to be a cracking FA Cup tie between two teams who have battled through two replays to get the opportunity of a fourth qualifying round spot and potential National League opposition.
Tickets are available from the official Cray Wanderers website and on the day priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions, Under 16s go free. There is also an excellent printed programme for £3.
Kick off is at 3pm.
