The magic of the FA Cup returns to The Badgers Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon when Cray Valley PM meet Tonbridge Angels in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.

Cray Valley currently sit fourteenth in the Isthmian League Premier Division with 9 points from 8 league games. The Millers won 3-2 away to Potters Bar Town last weekend, thanks to two goals from Ibby Akanbi & one from Dan Ajakaiye.
Tonbridge Angels are fifteenth in the National League South with 10 points from 9 league games and will be going into the game under new management with Allan Dunne having taken charge this week following the departure of Craig Nelson & his staff. Last weekend The Angels won 1-0 away at Worthing with a Bobby Unwin goal early in the first half. Former Bromley Number Two, Dunne has brought in Larry McAvoy from Millwall as his Assistant Manager who had a fantastic track record of developing players.
The Millers booked their place in this round thanks to away wins over Ramsgate 2-1 & Chertsey Town 3-2. While The Angels progressed to this round courtesy of a 6-1 replay win over Steyning Town, following a 2-2 draw in Sussex and both sides will be eyeing up a place in the final qualifying round next month when the National League sides come in.
The teams haven’t met before in any competition, but Cay Valley manager Steve McKimm was previously gaffer at Tonbridge Angels along with his Assistant Barry Moore in a successful spell at Longmead Stadium.
All the ingredients are there for a great close fought cup tie in front of a big crowd in SE9, with the club offering a free pint of Spitfire to adults arriving at the ground before 2pm.
