Fresh from their midweek Emirates FA Cup success against Burgess Hill Town, The Millers return to league action with a visit from The Brickies.

Having started the league season with a draw at title favourites Hastings United last Saturday, Kevin Watson’s promotion chasers will be looking to build on an unbeaten start to the season.

Sittingbourne enter their 15th season in the Pitching In Isthmian League looking to improve on a previous best 6th place – having finished the abandoned 2019/20 season languishing in 16th position.

The Brickies started this campaign being comprehensively beaten 4-1 at Deal Town in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round, before securing a 3-2 victory at home to Whitstable Town in last week’s league opener.

Manager Darren Blackburn has recruited well in the summer, –  bringing former favourites Andy Drury and striker Kane Rowland back to Broadoak Road, from Havant and Waterlooville and Ramsgate respectively.

Ex Tunbridge Wells and Lordswood captain Freeman Rogers and former Wrexham and Swindon Town full back Salvyn Kisitu have also been brought in to add defensive stability.
