Former Chelsea and England defender Ashley Cole has been linked with the vacant managerial position at Bromley Football Club.

Following Andy Woodman’s position at the club coming to an abrupt end last week, Bromley fans have been wondering who will come in to take charge of the League One side.
Byron Webster took temporary charge of the side as The Ravens drew 1-1 with Peterborough United at Hayes Lane on Saturday.
However, it is believed the Bromley hierarchy are looking for a high profile appointment to replace Woodman and keep the side in the third tier of English football.
It is believed that initial talks have been held with Cole about the prospect of taking on the role of manager at Bromley.
Cole had a brief stint with Italian side Cesena between March and May this year, only to record one win and three draws from his eight matches in charge.
The 45 year old will certainly bring a lot of attention to Bromley should he be appointed with a number of fans disappointed that Woodman wasn’t given more time to see what the side could do in League One.
