Looking for their first Isthmian League Premier Division points, Welling United travel to West Sussex to play Chichester City in Saturday.

In their last outing, the Wings appeared to be heading for a goal-less draw at home to Lewes until they fell to a late wonder goal. Lee Martin’s team had a couple of good chances and there were signs that they are starting to gel but they need the boost of a win for their confidence.
Miles Rutherford’s Chichester team are unbeaten in three. They drew their first two matches, at home to Folkestone Invicta and away at Whitehawk. They then visited Hashtag United and won two-one. Billy Vigar gave the Lilywhites a half time lead, but the scores were levelled ten minutes after the break. Seventeen minutes remained when Ryan Davidson won it for Chichester.

Last season, Chichester missed out on the play-offs by one place and three points so they will be looking to go at least one step further this time around and will present the Wings with a big challenge.
It will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs and Martin, and his management team, will have done everything possible to prepare the team when they step out on to the pitch on Saturday afternoon.
